Last Updated: Dec 04, 2018 10:01AM AEDT
Gooroo is focused on providing you with the most predictive screening and ranking technology in the world. It can integrate with your existing workflow and systems, and doesn’t aim to replace them. Gooroo also allows you to:
  • Invite candidates from the Gooroo verified talent community
  • Build your own talent pool
  • Integrate your existing talent database
  • Define role performance benchmarks across six key success factors
  • Assess your existing team to inform hiring priorities and benchmarks.
Can I access Gooroo’s assessment technology from within my ATS or current system?
Yes. Please speak with your Gooroo relationship manager about coordinating an integration project.

Can I setup my own talent community on Gooroo?
Yes. As a Gooroo subscriber you get access to your own talent pool feature. Any applicants to your roles will be added to your community. Importantly, they will not be available to other recruiters.
If you elect, you can offer your community free membership to Gooroo’s career management platform, created especially for talent. It is here that they will receive job matches to your open roles, recommended training courses, daily skill and demand analytics, recognition via badges, access to their own content publishing platform and a customised professional (tech) bio. A great way to build and maintain positive engagement with your database.

Are candidates that apply for my roles available to other recruiters?
No. Any candidates that apply with Gooroo are associated with your account and will be made available to you for future jobs. If the candidate already exists in the Gooroo database, any new information added to the candidate’s record will only be accessible by you.

Can I use my own database in the assessment of candidates?
Yes, you sure can. The quickest and easiest way is to use Gooroo’s Assessment module. Just identify the list of candidates in your database that you’d like assesses and invite them using Gooroo.
Alternatively, you may wish to conduct a project that integrates your database directly with Gooroo (via an API or similar web service). Depending on how the integration is designed, you will be able to invite them from your database or via a database search from within Gooroo.

Can applicants still apply using my system?
Yes, absolutely. You can choose to send applicants through Gooroo’s survey engine at any time.

Can Gooroo be used across all of my offices?
Yes, Gooroo is a cloud-based application and can be accessed from anywhere in the world, on PC and mobile. A Gooroo subscription is typically tied to a specific office or region.

I’m only hiring for one role, should I still use Gooroo?
Absolutely. Gooroo can be used on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) job basis.

How much effort does Gooroo add to my team?
While Gooroo is an additional tool to use, it can integrate with your existing processes and systems. We have also build features that automate steps to remove effort while adding more accuracy and reliability. Further, if you choose Gooroo as the central point for candidate applications and screening, you could remove up to 90% of the effort you currently spend (based on a typical, full-time role).

Do applicants need to spend a lot of time completing questionnaires?
Not at all. Applicants only need to answer 18 questions which should take them less than 2 mins.

Where does Gooroo’s tech community play a role in the search and identification of candidates?
Gooroo’s tech community continues to grows month on month, with over 110 countries represented. Members are actively engaged in their career development and are interested in receiving opportunities that are tightly matched to their skills and interests.
As a subscriber, Gooroo conduct a search from within its talent community and presents the top 20 matches. You can then invite them to consider your role, directly from within the platform simplifying and shortening your search efforts.
