What do all the status badges mean and when are they displayed?

At any time, just roll over each of the badges on your Bio edit screen and tool tips will display. Here is a consolidated list of the current badges and how you get them.

Badges on displayed on your Gooroo Bio. Microbadges are also displayed next to the name of Ambassadors or Gooroos on GoorooThink.

Displays immediately when your Bio summary is complete and at least one achievement has been added with skills
Displays when a minimum of one article has been published by you to GoorooThink.

Please ensure that you tag each article with the skills referenced in the article. Each article is referenced in your Bio and the skill referenced count toward the verification of that skill.
By application and awarded on merit. Recognizes an individual's experience and knowledge within field of expertise. A member of the GoorooThink Ambassador Program. Applications are open

The Gooroo team will review your Gooroo Bio and assess any previous articles written. We may require you to write an article and submit it to be assessed prior to being awarded the badge.

Microsoft MCPs and MVPs are awarded Ambassador status on registering and verification of their MCP or MVP Public Profile URL.
Awarded on verification of Microsoft MCP status. Please allow up to 7 days for the status to be verified.

MCPs also awarded Ambassador status. 
Awarded on verification of Microsoft MVP status. Please allow up to 7 days for the status to be verified.

MVPs also awarded Ambassador status. MVPs should consider applying for Gooroo status (see below).
By invitation only. Recognizes an individual's influence and leadership within their field of technology. Have a responsibility to teach. Recognized with special Gooroo benefits. If you'd like to be considered for Gooroo status, please contact us.
